If you have stayed in one of our holiday apartments, you know our standards. We apply exactly the same standards to our motorhome.
The Rapido 686 F is a semi-integrated motorhome based on a Fiat Ducato, first registered in April 2025 — compact enough for narrow Alpine roads and comfortable enough for several weeks away. The 9-speed automatic transmission makes mountain passes and city driving easier, while the reversing camera helps when manoeuvring on the campsite. Rear air suspension keeps even longer journeys comfortable.
At the rear, there is a proper queen bed accessible from both sides — no climbing over your partner. Just in front of it is the bathroom with a separate shower cabin: not a wet room where the toilet and shower share the same space, but a proper shower with a rain shower head.
The kitchen has two cooking zones, a large worktop and a 135-litre refrigerator with a drinks drawer and freezer compartment. Above the seating area is a panoramic roof window — the best place in the vehicle in the evening. Under the bed is a through-loading rear garage accessible from both sides, with space for camping furniture, hiking equipment and luggage. A bike rack can be added to your booking.
Power is supplied by a solar system with a 2,000-watt inverter. A second air-conditioning unit cools the living and sleeping area and can be operated on shore power. The vehicle can be levelled using the AL-KO hydraulic levelling system.
You collect the camper from us in Garmisch-Partenkirchen — fully fuelled, freshly cleaned and with a detailed introduction. If you have never driven a motorhome before, we will take the time to explain everything. Due to its seasonal registration, the camper is available from April to November.

The vehicle has a permissible gross weight of 3.5 tonnes and can therefore be driven with a standard Category B driving licence — you do not need a truck licence. Requirements: minimum age 25 and a driving licence held for at least 5 years.
The minimum rental period is 4 days in the low and shoulder seasons and 7 days during the high season from June to September. Collection and return are possible daily between 11 am and 4 pm.
No. The automatic transmission and reversing camera make driving much easier than many people expect. When you collect the vehicle, we will calmly explain everything to you: driving behaviour, gas, water, electricity, the toilet and how to set up the awning. You can also reach us by phone during your trip.
The rental price includes the vehicle with all permanently installed equipment and 250 free kilometres per day; each additional kilometre costs €0.20. In addition, there is a final cleaning fee of €190 per booking and a €1,500 deposit, payable in cash when you collect the vehicle. Not included are the bed linen package (€70), kitchen equipment (€50), barbecue (€30) and bike rack (€30) — these can be added to your booking. The vehicle is fully comprehensively insured with an excess of €1,500.
Pets are allowed on request only — simply contact us in advance. If it is not possible, we also offer many dog-friendly holiday apartments, including options that can be combined with a camper trip.
The camper has seasonal registration from April to November and is not registered for use outside this period. Bookings are therefore available from April to November; the winter months from December to March are excluded.
Yes. You can add a bike rack for €30 per booking. Alternatively, bicycles can be stored in the through-loading rear garage, which is accessible from both sides of the vehicle. Please observe the vehicle’s permitted payload.
You can cancel free of charge up to 30 days before the start of the rental period and receive a full refund. After that, we refund 75% for cancellations made between 29 and 8 days before the rental period and 70% from 7 days before the rental period. If you enquire directly with us, we will hold your requested dates for you without obligation until you have made your decision.
Both options lead to the same vehicle. When booking through the portal, your booking is immediately binding, but a service fee applies. If you enquire directly with us, you speak to the people who will also hand over the camper to you — and we can accommodate special requests, such as an earlier collection time or combining your trip with a holiday apartment.
