The Farchanter Alm is a worthwhile excursion destination in summer and winter, not only because of the beautiful view of the Wetterstein mountains with the Alpspitze and Zugspitze. In summer, cyclists and mountain bikers can enjoy themselves here, while in winter there is a toboggan run and a cross-country ski trail, as well as the opportunity for curling and ice skating. There is also a ski lift in the immediate vicinity and a golf course three kilometers away.
