Historic bobbahn

The historic bobsled track at Riessersee above Garmisch was considered one of the most dangerous bobsled tracks ever. Not only were all kinds of championships held there, but also the bobsled race of the 1936 Winter Olympics. The nearby Bob Museum houses 17 historical bobsleds, features original film footage, and can be visited every Wednesday from January to October, from 2 PM to 4 PM.
